Davide Boston: Whats the Story? (A Quick Look at This Boston Hotspot)

Must read

Today, I wanna talk about something I recently did – trying to recreate that cool effect, you know, the one where Davide did in Boston. It was pretty interesting, so I thought I’d share my little journey with you guys.

Davide Boston: Whats the Story? (A Quick Look at This Boston Hotspot)

First, I started by watching a bunch of videos and reading some stuff about it. I needed to get a good grasp of what was actually going on. So I watched that video of Davide a couple times and I gotta say, that guy’s got skills.

Then I started thinking, “Alright, how am I gonna do this?” I needed the right tools. I found some software that people recommended. It wasn’t exactly what Davide used, but it seemed like it could do the job. I downloaded it and installed it – pretty standard stuff.

After that, I just started messing around. I imported some random footage I had lying around and started playing with the settings. It was a lot of trial and error, I’m not gonna lie. Some things worked, some things didn’t. But hey, that’s part of the process, right?

I spent a few days just experimenting. I’d tweak something, see what happens, tweak it again, and so on. It was kind of like being a mad scientist, but without the crazy hair, hopefully.

  • Day 1: Got the software running, imported some test footage, and tried some basic stuff that didn’t work very well.
  • Day 2: Watched more tutorials and started to understand the settings a bit better. Made some progress, but still not quite there.
  • Day 3: Aha! Moment. Figured out a key setting that made a big difference. Finally started to see some results that looked kind of like what Davide did.

Eventually, after a lot of messing around, I managed to create something that looked… okay. I mean, it wasn’t exactly like Davide’s, but it was in the same ballpark. I was pretty happy with it, considering I’m just a regular dude, not a professional like him.

So, that’s my story of trying to recreate Davide’s Boston effect. It was a fun little project, and I learned a lot along the way. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime and see if I can get even closer to the original. But for now, I’m pretty satisfied with what I accomplished. This is what I learned:

  • Don’t be afraid to experiment.
  • It is okay to fail.
  • Keep learning.
