I got some time today, so I thought I’d mess around with this thing called “glenn cadrez”. I’d heard about it a bit, seemed interesting enough. So, first thing I did was fire up my computer and started searching for it. Didn’t really find a one-stop shop for info, had to piece things together from different places.
After I got a basic idea, I figured I’d try to implement it. Started by setting up my environment, you know, the usual stuff – downloaded a few things, installed some programs, made sure everything was talking to each other nicely. Took a bit of time, but I got there.
Then came the coding part. Man, this was a bit of a headache at first. I tried a few different approaches, kept hitting walls. But, I kept at it, trying different things, reading through forums when I got stuck. Slowly but surely, I started making some progress. I was using some simple code and then adding features step by step.
My Steps
- First, I tried to get a basic version running.
- Second, I started adding more features, one at a time.
- Third, I tested each feature as I went along.
It was a lot of trial and error. There were definitely times when I wanted to just give up, but I kept pushing through. Finally, after a good chunk of time, I had something that worked! It wasn’t perfect, but it was a start, and I was pretty happy with what I had made.
I guess the main thing I learned from this whole thing is that persistence pays off. You’re gonna run into problems, you’re gonna get frustrated, but if you keep at it, you can usually figure it out. Plus, it’s a pretty good feeling when you finally get something working that you built yourself.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with “glenn cadrez” for today. Maybe I’ll try to improve it later, but for now, I’m gonna take a break.
