Okay, guys, let’s talk about my survivor pool picks for Week 5. I’ve been doing this for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s always a bit of a rollercoaster. You think you’ve got it all figured out, and then bam, an upset happens, and your whole strategy goes out the window.

So, for this week, I started by looking at the schedule and trying to find some teams that I thought had a good chance of winning. I looked at the matchups, the teams’ records, and of course, I’m also thinking, who haven’t I used yet? You know, you can only pick a team once, so you gotta be strategic about it. That’s what I did.
After my initial scan, I narrowed it down to a few options. The New England Patriots were playing the Indianapolis Colts. Their popularity is around 43 percent. I really thought about them. They seemed like a solid choice. And, you know, they’re playing at home, which is always an advantage.
I also considered a couple of other teams, you know, just to have some backups. But ultimately, I decided to go with the Patriots. It was a gut feeling, mostly. I mean, you gotta trust your instincts sometimes, right?
I submitted my pick and then just had to wait and see what happened. It was a bit nerve-wracking, to be honest.
- Watched the game on Sunday.
- Cheered like crazy.
- Bit my nails a few times, not gonna lie.
In the end, the Patriots pulled through! They won the game, and I moved on to the next week in my survivor pool. It was a close one, though, I’ll give you that.

What I learned?
This whole thing, it just reinforces the idea that anything can happen in the NFL. You gotta be prepared for the unexpected. And sometimes, you just gotta go with your gut. It’s all part of the fun, I guess. At least that’s what I keep telling myself when I don’t do so well. Until next week, fingers crossed!
