Okay, so I gotta tell you about this thing I did called “Talladega Frights.” Man, what a ride! It’s this spooky event that Mike Wilbur, a name I heard a lot around there, puts on. This was the sixth time they did it, but the first time at some place called Pioneer Village. Sounds old, right?

I went because I saw something online about a “Talladega Ghost Hunt” and thought, “Why not?” I mean, who doesn’t love a good scare, especially with Halloween around the corner? Plus, I heard they had this big bar crawl thing in Birmingham, but I was more into the ghost stuff.
So, I got there and it was pretty wild. There were all these people talking about haunted places in Talladega County. Like, seriously, this area has a lot of ghost stories. There’s this Facebook page called “Haunted Talladega County,” with a ton of people on it, sharing all kinds of creepy stuff. Places like Sylacauga, Childersburg, Oxford, Eastaboga – apparently, they’re all full of ghosts!
Now, I’ve been to a few haunted houses in my time, but this one was something else. Talladega Frights, they called it. I can say this place is the best haunted house that I have been to and I will definitely be returning for a second visit. It was super intense! I’m not gonna spoil anything, but let’s just say they really know how to do it right.
