So, I wanted to get a buddy on my Champions 2024 knife in VALORANT. It’s something new they added, and I thought it would be cool to try it out. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a ride, but I figured it out.

Equipping the Buddy

Checking It Out
Now for the moment of truth. I loaded into a custom game to see if it worked. And there it was! When I pulled out the Champions 2024 knife, it had the little dragon buddy on it. It looked pretty slick, I gotta say. It seems like when you are holding the Phantom, the buddy will be on the knife as well, nice!
Playing a Match
I played a few matches with this setup. It was cool to see my customized knife in action. It’s a small detail, but it made the game a little more fun for me. Plus, it was a good conversation starter with my teammates. Many people don’t know this is possible yet.
Experimenting More
After a few games, I went back and tried different buddies. Some looked better than others with the knife. It’s all about personal preference, really. I encourage you guys to play around and find the best combination that suits you.
