Alright, so I wanted to keep up with the non-league football results. You know, it’s not the Premier League, but there’s some real passion in these games. I figured there had to be a way to get all these scores without jumping around a million different websites.

First thing I did was hit up Google. Just typed in “non league football results” and a bunch of stuff came up. Lots of different websites, each covering different leagues or regions. It was a bit of a mess, to be honest.
Then I thought, maybe there’s an app for this? Checked the app store, and sure enough, there were a few. Downloaded a couple that looked promising. One was okay, it gave some results, but it was clunky to use and didn’t have all the leagues I wanted.
The other app was even worse. Crashed a couple of times, and the interface was just… ugh. Deleted that one pretty quickly.
So, back to the websites. I started digging deeper into the search results. Found a few that were dedicated to non-league football, which was a good start. Bookmarked those.
Digging Deeper
One of these sites had a forum, and I figured, why not ask the experts? Posted a question there, asking for recommendations on the best way to follow the results. Got a few replies, which was cool.

- Someone suggested a website that lets you customize the leagues you follow. That sounded promising, so I checked it out.
- Another person mentioned a Twitter account that live-tweets results. Not exactly what I was looking for, but still useful.
- A couple of people said they just use their local newspaper’s website, but I wanted something a bit more comprehensive.
The customizable website was the best tip. You could basically create your own personalized scoreboard. Took a bit of time to set it up, selecting all the leagues and divisions I cared about, but it was worth it.
Now, I just check that one site, and boom, all the results are right there. It even has live updates during the matches, which is a nice bonus. Finally I can check all the scores at once!
So yeah, that’s how I solved my non-league football results problem. Took a bit of trial and error, but I got there in the end. If you’re trying to do the same, hopefully, my experience can save you some time.
