So, I saw this video of Monica Bellucci, right? It was everywhere on my feed. She was in this blue bikini, looking absolutely stunning as usual. I thought, “Why not try to recreate this look?” I mean, who wouldn’t want to channel their inner Monica Bellucci, even just for a day?

First things first, I needed a similar bikini. I rummaged through my swimwear collection, but nothing quite matched that deep blue shade and the plunging neckline. Off to the shops, I went! I spent a good hour, maybe two, trying on different bikinis. Some were too bright, others were too skimpy, and some just didn’t fit right. Finally, I found one that was a pretty close match. It wasn’t perfect, but it was good enough.
Next up, the hair and makeup. Monica always has this effortless, natural look going on. I watched a few tutorials online, trying to figure out how to get that slightly tousled hair and that subtle makeup. It took a few tries, believe me. My first attempt at the hair made me look like I’d just stuck my finger in a socket. And the makeup? Let’s just say I ended up looking more like a clown than a movie star.
After a lot of trial and error, I finally got the hair and makeup somewhat right. It wasn’t exactly Monica Bellucci level, but hey, I was feeling pretty good.
The Photoshoot
Now for the fun part – the photoshoot. I set up my phone on a tripod, trying to find the best lighting. I remembered how Monica was filming herself close up in the video, so I tried to do the same. It was a bit awkward at first, posing in a bikini in my living room, but I started to get into it. I tried to copy Monica’s pose, tilting my head and flashing my best “come hither” look. It felt silly, but I was having a blast.
- Pose 1: The classic over-the-shoulder glance.
- Pose 2: Leaning against the wall, looking all sultry.
- Pose 3: Sitting on the floor, trying to look effortlessly cool.
I took a bunch of photos, some better than others. In a few, I looked downright ridiculous, but in others, I could kind of see a glimmer of Monica Bellucci. Maybe it was the lighting, maybe it was the bikini, or maybe it was just my imagination running wild.

After I edited the photos and put them online, it really blew up. I didn’t expect that to happen at all, but I got a bunch of nice comments that really made me feel good.
In the end, it was a fun little experiment. Did I actually look like Monica Bellucci? Probably not. But it was a great confidence booster, and it was fun to play dress-up for a day. Plus, I got some pretty cool photos out of it. Would I do it again? Maybe. It’s definitely a fun way to spend an afternoon.
