Well, let me tell ya, that PGA Castle Pines 2024 is gonna be somethin’ else. Heard it’s comin’ back to that fancy golf place, Castle Pines. Ain’t been there for, what, 18 years? Time sure does fly when you’re havin’ fun, or just gettin’ old, I reckon. They say it’s a real tough course, all up in them Rocky Mountains. Lots of ups and downs, like life, I suppose. They say it’s the longest course the PGA Tour ever seen, at least for the BMW Championship thing. 8,130 yards! My old bones ache just thinkin’ about walkin’ that far.

And get this, it’s way up high, where the air is thin. Like, 6,000 feet or somethin’. I remember one time, I went up to visit my cousin, she lives up in the mountains. And my goodness, that air gets to ya! Gotta take it slow. It’s gonna be mighty interestin’ seein’ how them young fellas handle it. Makes it hard to breathe, I tell ya. They say it makes the ball go further, though. Go figure. That’s why they gotta make the course longer.
They say this here Castle Pines place is gonna be a par 72. I don’t know much about all them golf numbers, but I know it’s a tough one. Lots of hills and such. You gotta be real careful where you hit that little white ball. They call it “elevation changes.” Sounds fancy, don’t it? I just call ’em hills.
- Lots of hills
- Thin air
- Long course
- Tough greens
And them greens, they say they’re tricky. All bumpy and fast. Like tryin’ to putt on a washboard, I imagine. And the rough, they say it’s real high. You get in that stuff, you might as well just pick up your ball and go home.
Now, I heard some fellas gotta play a special round just to get into this here tournament. They call it a “qualifier.” Sounds like a lot of work to me. Like they gotta earn their keep, I reckon. They play 18 holes on a Monday, I think it is. And some of ’em even gotta play another round before that, just to get into the Monday thing. It’s a whole to-do.
This here PGA Castle Pines 2024, it’s one of them big deals. It’s near the end of their season, so it’s real important. Like the last harvest before winter, you gotta make it count.

I remember back in the day, they used to have a tournament at this Castle Pines place. They called it “The International.” It was a big deal. Lots of folks would come out to watch. It is good they bring it back. I reckon folks around here are excited. It will bring all the people out.
It’s gonna be a real show, that’s for sure. These young fellas today, they’re somethin’ else. They can hit that ball a country mile. And they’re all so serious about it. I guess it’s their job, though.
I’ll be watchin’ on the television, I reckon. My old knees ain’t what they used to be. Can’t be walkin’ around all day like I used to. But I’ll be rootin’ for ’em. Hope they have good weather. Weather up in them mountains can be tricky. One minute it’s sunny, the next it’s snowin’.
Yep, this PGA Castle Pines 2024 is gonna be one for the books. Mark my words. Longest PGA Tour event ever for the BMW Championship. You heard it here first. A par 72, 8,130 yards long, with thin air. If you like golf, then you better be watchin’. If you can, better go see it in person. Me? I’ll be on my couch, I think.
I tell ya what, it’s somethin’ to see, all them folks gathered ’round, watchin’ them fellas hit that little ball. It’s a real community thing. Brings people together. And that’s always a good thing, ain’t it?

So, yeah, that’s what I know about this here PGA Castle Pines 2024. It’s gonna be a big one. You just wait and see. It is gonna be good for the town. Bring in all kinds of people. Good for business and all that. Yep, gonna be real good. I hope they keep doing it. Keep bringing it back every year. People like that kind of thing.
