Okay, so I got into this whole “Set 11 Augments” thing in Teamfight Tactics, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started off just clicking around, trying to figure out what these “augments” even were.

At first, I jumped into a game and saw these shiny new options pop up at the start. I was like, “What the heck are these?” No clue! So, I picked one that sounded cool – something about sharing armor. I noticed my two champions at the very back were getting some of their defenses mixed together. Pretty neat, I guess, but I wasn’t really sure how to use it to my advantage.
Then, I got this other augment that made my units burn enemies. It wasn’t doing a ton of damage – only 5% of their max health over 5 seconds, but it was something. Plus, they got their attacks weakened a bit, which was cool.
- First Game: Picked the armor-sharing augment.
- Second Game: Tried the burning attacks augment.
I kept playing and experimenting. I saw some folks online talking about a tier list for these augments. Apparently, some are way stronger than others. There’s this highest tier called “Prismatic,” which sounds super powerful. I haven’t gotten many of those yet, but when I did, it felt like a big deal!
Experimenting with Augments
I started to check out guides and tier lists to get a better idea of what I should be picking. Some people were saying certain augments are amazing in specific situations, while others are just always good. I realized I needed a more focused strategy.
I spent hours just grinding games, trying different combinations. Some games I’d try to get as many Mythic champions as I could, hoping they’d become Epic and give me some bonus. Other games I was all about isolating my units in pairs to boost their attack speed and armor. Some of the results were awesome, others not so much.

I noticed there were actually websites and teams dedicated to tracking these augments. Win rates, pick rates, the whole shebang. It was way more complex than I initially thought.
I’m still learning the ropes, but I’m starting to get a feel for which augments work well together and which ones fit my playstyle. It’s definitely added a whole new layer of strategy to the game, and I’m kind of addicted to figuring it all out.
I’m not at the top of the ladder or anything, but I’m having a blast. It feels like every game is a new puzzle to solve, and that’s what keeps me coming back for more. It’s a mess, a beautiful, chaotic mess, but I’m here for it.
