This new guy, they call him Ruben somethin’. From Portugal, I heard. Fancy, huh? He’s supposed to be young, only 39, like a spring chicken. He got a tough job, I tell ya. All them folks watchin’ Man U, they want wins. They ain’t happy with how things been goin’. That old manager, he was there for a long time, they don’t have him no more.

They say he start this Sunday. Big game, I reckon. Gotta show what he’s made of, this manager man u. If he can get them boys to play together, work hard, maybe they can win some games. It ain’t easy, that’s for sure. They need to be kickin’ the ball good. Score more, don’t let the other team get any. All that stuff. It is simple, just kick the ball to the goal, that manager man u need to tell them.

I remember one time, years back, there was this other manager man u. Sir somethin’ or other. They said he was the best. Won all sorts of things. Lots of trophies. Shiny cups and medals and all that. He was there for a long time, too. Like, forever! 26 years! Can you believe it? I can’t even count that high. Man U need a good manager to win.

  • This Sir guy, he won 13 of them… what’s they called… Premier somethings.
  • And 2 of them Champions things. Big deals, I guess.
  • He started way back in ’86. That’s even before I met my old man.

But it weren’t easy for him at first. Nope. Took him a while to get them boys playin’ good. Had some troubles, they say. This new manager man u, he might have troubles, too. It ain’t always easy, this football business. It’s like growin’ potatoes, sometime you have bad ones.

Now, this new fella, Ruben, he’s gonna be there ’til 2027, they say. Maybe even longer. Depends on if he can get them winnin’. If he can’t, well, they might just get another one. They change them like socks, these football teams. Don’t need no old socks, need new ones.

Before this Ruben, they had another fella. Ten somethin’. Didn’t work out, I guess. They got rid of him. Now they’re lookin’ for someone new. Someone better. Someone who can make them win. They need to find a good manager man u, or they will be sad.

There’s a whole bunch of fellas they could choose from. Lots of manager man u out there, just waitin’ for a chance. Like pickin’ apples from a tree. Gotta find the ripe one. The one that ain’t got no worms.

I don’t know much about these things, really. Just what I hear folks talkin’ about. But it seems to me, this manager man u, it’s a mighty important job. Gotta be tough. Gotta be smart. Gotta know how to handle them football players.

I hope this Ruben fella does good. For their sake. It ain’t fun watchin’ your team lose all the time. It’s like watchin’ your crops wither in the field. Makes ya sad. A good manager man u will be good.

We’ll see what happens, I guess. Time will tell. Just like with plantin’ seeds, ya gotta wait and see what sprouts. Only one way to know. Wait and see. Then you know that manager man u good or not.
