Celtics Broadcast Radio Online: Enjoy the Game Live From Anywhere

Must read

Okay, so the other day I really wanted to listen to the Celtics game. I’m a huge fan, you see, and I just couldn’t miss it. But I wasn’t at home to watch it on TV, so I figured, why not listen to it on the radio?

Celtics Broadcast Radio Online: Enjoy the Game Live From Anywhere

First, I grabbed my phone and started looking for the right station. I remembered reading somewhere that 98.5 The Sports Hub is the place to go for Celtics games. So, I opened up my radio app—yeah, I still use one of those—and typed in 98.5. And boom, there it was!

But wait, it wasn’t that simple. Turns out, sometimes they air the games on ROCK 92.9 if there’s some kind of scheduling conflict. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case this time. 98.5 had the game, and I was good to go.

As I was listening, I also found out that you can listen to games nationally on ABC, ESPN, NBA TV, and TNT. But for local broadcasts, you need NBC Sports Boston if you’re in the Celtics’ home market. If you’re out-of-market, you can use NBA League Pass, which is pretty cool.

So, I dug a bit deeper and discovered that 98.5 The Sports Hub isn’t just for the Celtics. It’s also the flagship station for the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins. These guys are really into sports, it seems!

  • I also stumbled upon this thing called the “Celtics Insiders” podcast.
  • It’s hosted by Marc D’Amico, Sean Grande, and Abby Chin.
  • They take you behind the scenes and give you all the inside scoop on the Celtics.
  • Sounds pretty awesome, right?

Then I found some news about the Celtics extending their broadcast deal with Beasley Media Group, which owns 98.5 The Sports Hub. I guess that means we’ll be hearing Celtics games on there for a good while longer.

Anyway, I ended up listening to the whole game on 98.5. It was a great experience. The announcers were awesome, and I felt like I was right there in the arena. If you’re a Celtics fan and you can’t watch the game, definitely give the radio broadcast a try. It’s a pretty sweet alternative!

Oh, one more thing!

I read somewhere that the Celtics fanbase is huge because they’re the only NBA team in New England. So, it makes sense that they have all these different ways to listen to the games. Whether you’re in Boston or somewhere else in New England, you can always catch the Celtics on the radio.

That’s about it for my little Celtics radio adventure. Hope this helps some fellow fans out there!
