- Compared different websites: I didn’t want to rely on just one source. It’s like getting a second opinion from a doctor. You want to make sure you’re getting the full picture.
From what I gathered, the TFF First League, which is also called the Trendyol 1. Lig because of some sponsorship stuff, is the second level in Turkish football. There are 19 teams in total, which is an odd number but okay. And then there’s this whole thing about Fenerbahce having 28 titles, but that includes some older championships like the Turkish Football Championship and the National Division. It’s a bit confusing, but I think I got it.
At first, I was a bit lost, I gotta admit. It felt like trying to put together a puzzle without the picture on the box. But after spending some time on it, I’m starting to get a clearer picture.
