Okay, so I was flat broke last week and needed to make some cash fast. I mean, like, yesterday. I didn’t want to ask my folks for money again. They already helped me out last month.
So, I started to think about how I can make money quickly. I remembered I saw some guys fighting on TV the other day. Seemed like they were making good money. So I thought, “Why not give it a shot?”
I went down to the local gym where they had a fighting ring. I had never done this before, but I was desperate. I asked around, and they told me that they do have some amateur fights here. I signed up, no questions asked. They just needed someone to fill in for a guy who dropped out last minute.
I got in the ring, and man, it was tough. I got punched, kicked, the whole nine yards. But I kept going. I didn’t win, but I didn’t lose either. They gave me 100 bucks just for showing up, I felt a bit of pain all over my body. It wasn’t a lot, but it was something. And you know what? If I kept at it, got better, I could move up the ranks, maybe even become a champion. That’s where the real money is, they said.
Later on, I also learned that there are some places online where you can get paid quickly. Like, I found out that I could make some money by selling some of my old stuff that I don’t use anymore. I also tried to teach some kids online, it’s not bad. One guy told me he made money by doing some virtual assistant jobs. I haven’t tried it but might do it next time.

But hey, it was an experience. I mean, I got paid to fight. Not something I ever thought I’d do, but when you’re broke, you do what you gotta do.
