Where to watch Chiefs game online? Easy guide for live streaming!

Must read

Okay, so, a bunch of folks are wondering where they can catch the Chiefs game, right? Well, I went through a bit of a wild goose chase myself trying to figure it out, so I’m gonna share my little adventure and what I learned.

First off, I thought, “Hey, why not check out Paramount+?” I mean, I heard somewhere that you can watch NFL games on CBS through them. Plus, they got this free trial thing going on for newbies. Sounds good, right? So, I signed up, got the trial, and boom! I was in… for a while, at least. The catch? After the trial ends, you gotta pay up. That was a bit of a bummer, but I thought, “Let’s see what else is out there.”

  • Signed up for Paramount+ free trial.
  • Watched a few games. Cool, cool.
  • Trial ended. Bummer, gotta pay now.

Then, I remembered someone telling me about catching games on CBS directly. So, I grabbed my remote and flipped to CBS. And guess what? There were Jim Nantz and Tony Romo, calling the game! But, plot twist, I don’t have cable. Yep, that’s me, living that cable-free life. So, CBS was a no-go for me unless I got cable, which, you know, wasn’t really in the plans.

Next, I dived into the world of streaming services. “YouTube TV and Sling TV must have it,” I thought. And they do! But here’s the thing, they ain’t free either. You gotta subscribe, and my wallet was already side-eyeing me from the Paramount+ trial. But hey, if you’re already subscribed or you’re cool with adding another subscription to your list, these could be your golden tickets.

  • Checked out CBS.
  • No cable, so nope.
  • YouTube TV and Sling TV? Also, have to subscribe, money, money, money.

Then there was this whole thing about Netflix having the game. I was like, “Netflix? Since when do they do sports?” Turns out, it was just for one specific game. So, that was a dead end for the game I wanted to watch.

Oh, and I stumbled upon NFL+ Premium. It sounded fancy, and I got excited for a second. Live out-of-market games? Primetime games on my phone? Sign me up! But then I saw it was for phones or tablets, and I wanted to watch on my big screen. Plus, you know, it’s another subscription. My wallet was really giving me the stink eye by this point.

  • NFL+ Premium?
  • Sounds cool, but only on mobile, and also… a subscription.

Last but not least, I checked out Peacock for the Chargers vs. Chiefs game. Downloaded the app, found the sports section, and bam. There it was. But, of course, it’s another service you gotta subscribe to. I just use my friend’s family account.

  • Downloaded Peacock app.
  • Found the game in the sports section.
  • Oh yeah, have to subscribe too…

Final Thoughts

So, after all that running around, I realized there are a bunch of ways to watch the Chiefs, but most of them are gonna cost you, one way or another. It’s either a subscription here or a cable package there. Free trials are cool, but they end. I ended up just using a friend’s account to watch on Peacock. If you’re really dedicated, maybe juggling a few free trials could work, but that sounds like a lot of work. Good luck, and go Chiefs!
