Looking for a cbr honda 2017? Read This Before You Buy!

Must read

Let me tell you about the time I got my hands on a 2017 Honda CBR. I’d been eyeing this beauty for a while, and when I finally decided to pull the trigger, I felt like a kid in a candy store.

First, I started digging around online, looking for listings. I scoured through a bunch of websites, comparing prices and checking out what was available both from dealers and private sellers. It was a bit of a mixed bag, with prices ranging from what seemed like a steal at $2,995 to a whopping $19,000 and some were just around $4,000. I wasn’t just looking at the price tag, though. I wanted to see what kind of condition these bikes were in.

I read a few reviews, like the one for the CBR300R, just to get a feel for what I was getting into. It looked like a solid choice, with its sleek design and all.

  • I mean, who wouldn’t love that look?

After a bit of hunting, I narrowed it down to a few options. I even joined a forum, the Honda CBR 500 Riders Forum. I found some people talking about fair pricing for the 2017 model and others looking for their first bike, it looked like a pretty active community. I figured it would be a good place to get some firsthand advice and maybe even find some leads on a good deal.

The real fun began when I started checking out bikes in person. I learned from the forum to look at aftermarket stuff. I mean, had the bike been modified and then put back to stock? That could be a red flag. I also made sure to check the seat and grips, you know, the stuff you touch all the time. I was told they are good indicators of how much wear and tear the bike has seen.

Some technical specifications

I heard that the 2017 model was a beast. They said it had a real kick to it, pulling hard all the way up to 13,000 RPM, and I guess it produced around 188 horsepower.

  • Sounds impressive, right?

I also learned that Honda doesn’t make a ton of the CBR250R and CBR150R models since they are not as popular as their other bikes.

Oh, and I found out that CBR actually stands for “cross beam racer.” I thought that was pretty cool. It’s because the engine is set across the bike’s frame. A guy named Dan Hancock explained it. He said that the 2017 model was a beast. They said it had a real kick to it, pulling hard all the way up to 13,000 RPM, and I guess it produced around 188 horsepower.

I also heard some folks compare it to the R1. Some said the Honda was more comfortable, but both are great bikes, depends on what you’re looking for.

Finally, after all that searching and comparing, I found the one. It was everything I was looking for, and let me tell you, it was worth all the effort.

So, that’s my story of getting a 2017 Honda CBR. It was a bit of an adventure, but I ended up with a fantastic bike that I absolutely love.
