Okay, so, let’s talk about this bike, the Suzuki GSX-R125. I’ve been messing around with it for a while now, and I gotta say, it’s a pretty interesting little machine.

First off, I got my hands on one of these. It’s not cheap, about 4000 quid brand new. Yeah, it’s up there for a 125cc, but seems like that’s the going rate for these sporty types. I checked, and it’s a bit cheaper than some others, like that Aprilia R125, which I heard is about 600 quid more.
When I first got it, I was wondering, “Is this thing really worth the price?” Well, I started playing around with it, and I’ve got to admit, Suzuki hasn’t skimped on the build quality. It feels solid, you know?
So, I took it for a spin. The power delivery on this thing, it’s actually pretty decent across the range. It’s smooth when you open up the throttle. First and second gear are a bit slow to get going, but once you’re past that, it picks up nicely. I found myself cruising along pretty comfortably.
My Little Experiment
- Riding Around Town: I rode it around town a bunch. It’s nimble, easy to handle in traffic.
- Opening it Up: On some open roads, I really let it rip. It’s got some pep for a 125, that’s for sure.
- Checking the Features: I played with all the controls, the display, and all that. Everything works as it should.
I noticed that some other countries already have the latest version with some new paint jobs. Not sure when it’ll hit India though, if that’s where you’re at. No info on that yet.
All in all, after spending some time with the GSX-R125, I can see why it’s priced the way it is. It’s a solid bike, good power for its size, and it’s built well. It was a fun little project for me, just seeing what this thing can do.

To buy it you need to pay for £1,619.00 now.
So that’s my two cents on the Suzuki GSX-R125. Hope this little write-up gives you a better idea of what it’s like.
