Alright, so I tackled the “Blue Ribbon Brewery” crossword clue today, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a head-scratcher at first. I saw this clue pop up in the New York Times crossword, you know, the one dated, I think it was May 21st, 2024. Maybe July 19th or May 22nd? Yeah, somewhere around there. So I started racking my brain, trying to figure this bad boy out.

Searching for the Answer
I pulled out my phone and started hitting up Google, and you can find anything in it, right? I typed in “Blue Ribbon Brewery NYT crossword” and the pages started rolling in.
- I saw some French stuff about deals on New York Times crossword books on Amazon, but that didn’t really help me much. I don’t even speak French!
- Then I found a few pages that straight up gave the answer, which was “PABST.” I mean, yeah, that’s what I needed, but where’s the fun in just getting the answer right away?
- There were also a bunch of sites just explaining that it was referring to Pabst Blue Ribbon, or PBR as the cool kids call it. You know, this old beer.
The “Aha!” Moment
So, yeah, the answer is PABST. It makes sense, right? I mean, it’s a well-known beer and it literally has “Blue Ribbon” in its name. Still, it took me a minute to get there.
I kept digging around because I was curious about why this clue was considered tricky by some folks. Turns out, it’s been used a few times in the NYT crossword, not just this once. That made a lot more sense to me.
Sharing My Victory
Anyway, I eventually cracked the code and plugged “PABST” into the puzzle. Felt pretty good to get that one solved, not gonna lie. Figured I’d share my little crossword adventure with you all. It wasn’t exactly a wild ride, but hey, a win’s a win, right?
Hope you enjoyed my little story, and hey, maybe next time you see this clue, you’ll remember this and get it right away! Or maybe not, who knows, crossword puzzles can be pretty unpredictable. That’s what I like about it.

Okay, I’m off to find another puzzle to solve. See ya!
