I took it out on some quiet roads to see how it felt. The power delivery, it was smooth, you know? The engine, being an in-line four, it revved up nicely. The way this bike handles, it’s just awesome.

The torque was also a tad lower than the claimed figures, but again, totally within the realm of what you’d expect. The bike felt great on the road, and the dyno numbers just confirmed that it was performing as it should. It was putting down enough power to be fun and exciting, but also manageable for everyday riding.
After all this, I did some more riding, just enjoying the bike for what it is. It’s a well-engineered machine, and even though it’s not the newest model out there, it still holds its own. This whole experience just reminded me why I love these older bikes. They have character, you know?
