Well, well, well, lookie here! V8 Supercars 2023, you say? That’s some fancy name for them race cars, ain’t it? I seen ’em on the TV, zoomin’ around, makin’ all that noise. My old man used to love watchin’ them races, bless his soul. He’d be glued to that screen, hootin’ and hollerin’ like a fool. Me? I just like seein’ them shiny cars.
They say this 2023 was a big year, lots of crashes and all that drama. It makes me nervous just thinkin’ about it! Them drivers go so fast, like a bat outta hell. One little slip and BAM! There goes your car, all smashed up. And what are V8 Supercars? Just cars with big engines, I reckon. They are just loud and fast, I tell ya!
They got this thing called the Bathurst 1000. Sounds important, don’t it? I heard it’s a big deal, like our county fair, but with cars instead of prize-winnin’ pigs. They drive around that mountain, Mount Panorama, they call it. Sounds like a fancy name for a hill to me. They even show it on that Seven Network channel for free. I guess even us folks can enjoy them fancy races now. One time, I even saw it on that 7plus app thing on my phone!
They say some fella named Will Brown won some big race. Good for him, I guess. He must be a brave one, drivin’ like that. I heard it was an “unbelievable victory.” And it was also an “action-packed” race. It sounds like it was more excitin’ than a chicken gettin’ loose in the church house!

Lots of Crashes in 2023: Yep, they said there were a bunch of crashes. Scary stuff. That year was full of surprises, like findin’ a twenty-dollar bill in your old jeans.

Shiny Cars: I do love them shiny cars. All different colors, like a rainbow threw up on ’em.

Fast Drivers: Them drivers are somethin’ else. Gotta have nerves of steel, I reckon.
They got this Brodie Kostecki, who is some kind of champion now. He missed the first couple of races, though. Then he came back to the third round in New Zealand. I always thought champions should be at every game. Guess he had his reasons, though. Champions are just people, same as you and me. Just faster, I suppose.
Then they got other fellas, like that Whincup who won a lot, and that Courtney, and also that Winterbottom fella. They even raced in Darwin! Imagine that, racin’ in the heat. They must be tougher than they look. They also race in Townsville. That must be some town if they got these fancy car races there. Those fellas are probably loaded if they can afford those cars!
Oh, and they showed these races, all the best ones, on the . My grandson showed me. Said it was all online, whatever that means. They had a top 10 list and everything. It was all very excitin’, seein’ all them highlights. Number one must’ve been a real doozy! It’s all about the “video views.” I don’t know much about that, but it sounds important.
They had this Race 16 and Race 27, too. Numbers and more numbers. Sounds complicated. I prefer just watchin’ ’em go ’round and ’round. They say Race 27 decided who was the best of them all in 2023. I bet it was a nail-biter, like waitin’ for the bread to rise.
They got some fancy cars, too. I seen these Ferrari things, all red and shiny. And somethin’ called a Gintani SVJ and an Apollo IE. I don’t know what any of that means, but they sure look expensive. I’d be too scared to even touch one of ’em, let alone drive it that fast!
Well, I guess that’s all I know about them V8 Supercars 2023. It’s a whole different world from what I’m used to, but it sure is somethin’ to watch. Just a bunch of cars goin’ real fast, makin’ a lot of noise, and sometimes crashin’. It was all a big deal, that 2023, they said. Lots of action, lots of drama. Just like my life, only with more horsepower, I reckon!
