Instantly remembered the climbing sounds, the gunfire. Super specific feeling! Did the same with God of War on an emulator. Saw Kratos swinging those chains? Pure aggression on screen. Didn’t play long, but felt why he sticks.
Thought hard about characters folks argue about endlessly. Master Chief from Halo kept popping into my head. Saw his helmet everywhere back in the day. Tried replaying the original’s first mission. Just him stepping off that ship onto the alien ring? Pure sci-fi soldier vibe. Got goosebumps remembering LAN parties.
