Okay so I decided to make this sick highlight reel of the PNC Championship yesterday. Wanted to grab those jaw-dropping moments before they got lost in the internet void. Started by hunting down the full tournament footage first thing in the morning.

Raw Footage Nightmare
Man finding usable videos took forever. Had six browser tabs open digging through different sources like a raccoon in trash cans. Couldn’t find clean replays without commentary watermarks. Almost smashed my keyboard when one site crashed during Woods’ epic putt. Took three hours just to download four chunks of decent footage.

Then came the real work – binge-watching every single shot. Took notes like a madman in my crusty notebook:
- Charlie Woods’ ridiculous approach shot on hole 7
- That impossible Bubba Watson slice around the trees
- Justin Thomas’ birdie streak meltdown moment
Drank two energy drinks while rewinding Tiger’s swing like fifty times. My eyes were crossing trying to spot all the club contacts.
The Chopping Block
Editing nearly broke me. Had thirty possible highlights but my laptop started wheezing like an asthmatic donkey. Cut down to the absolute must-see top ten plays after deleting weaker shots three times. Made my neighbor come over to settle arguments about which putt deserved the opening slot. Used that free editing tool that keeps crashing on export.
Final Stretch Drama
Rendering took longer than my last relationship. Started at dinner time while pizza grease stained my mouse. When the progress bar hit 99%, the power blinked. I almost cried. But somehow the file survived! Threw basic titles over the clips and slapped on royalty-free guitar junk. Posted it before midnight feeling like a war survivor. Honestly if I ever say “let’s make highlight reels” again, somebody slap me.
