How I Went Nuts Hunting Rugby Schedules Down Under
Alright, so this morning I woke up thinking, man, I need that New Zealand rugby schedule pronto. You know how it is when you just gotta catch those big games, right? Problem was, I didn’t have a clue where to find the whole season lineup, and time was ticking.
First thing, I bashed open my laptop. Coffee splashed everywhere – classic Monday mood. I hammered away at the keys, trying different search stuff like:
- “NZ rugby games 2023 dates”
- “When do All Blacks play at Eden Park?”
- “Super Rugby Aotearoa fixtures”
Felt like digging through mud. Every dodgy website wanted my email or popped up ads faster than I could blink. Dead ends everywhere. I almost threw my mug against the wall.
Then I remembered: official stuff. Stupid, right? Why didn’t I start there? Went straight to the actual New Zealand Rugby site. Still took ages to navigate – tiny links, weird menus. Clicked “Fixtures” like a maniac. There it was!
Total facepalm moment. Hidden in plain sight the whole time. Felt like the biggest idiot wasting those two hours.
Scrolled down the list, copying dates into my crappy spreadsheet like my life depended on it:

- Crusaders vs. Blues – July 15th, Christchurch
- All Blacks vs. Springboks – August 19th, Auckland
- Hurricanes vs. Chiefs – September 2nd, Wellington
Finished that sucker, hit save, and poured myself a cold one. Took way longer than it should’ve, but now? I’m set. Rugby heaven found. And yeah, maybe check the official stuff first next time. Lesson learned the hard way.
