Full list of Twins 2024 draft picks? Every new player added

Must read

I’ve been itching to dive into the Twins 2024 draft picks since the moment the draft ended. Being a diehard fan, I needed that full list right away. Started simple – hopped onto my laptop and typed “Minnesota Twins 2024 draft picks” into Google. Figured it’d pop right up.

The Search Struggle

First few links just showed partial info – like only the first round pick or just the top prospects. Kept clicking through different sports sites, getting more annoyed each time. One page made me sign up for a free trial just to see the list. Noped outta there real quick.

Checked the official MLB site next. Total mess! Had to click through twenty different pages of draft results. Their mobile site kept freezing when I tried filtering by team. Switched to my tablet thinking it’d work better – nope, same junk.

Social Media Hail Mary

Decided to hit up Twitter. Scrolled through the Twins official account – they’d posted individual welcome tweets for each new player but nothing consolidated. Took me thirty minutes just to screenshot all their announcements.

Then remembered team beat reporters sometimes compile these. Found one Twins writer’s profile but his list was buried under weeks of tweets about injuries and trade rumors. Nearly gave up until I spotted a fan forum in the search results.

The Fan Forum Save

Some absolute legend in the forums had already made a clean text list of every single draft pick. Copied it straight into my notes app:

  • Round 1: Ben Miller (LHP)
  • Competitive Balance A: Jake Thompson (SS)
  • Round 3: Carlos Ramirez (OF)
  • Round 4: Marcus Chen (C)
  • Rounds 5-10: Mike Evans (RHP), David Kim (1B), Tyrell Jones (3B), Ryan Murphy (RHP), Luis Torres (OF), Andre Wilson (RHP)
  • Rounds 11-20: Six pitchers, three outfielders, one infielder (those late-round flyers!)

Double-checked each name against MLB’s draft tracker. Took another hour but finally had my verified list. Formatted it properly and saved as a PDF just in case.

Wrapping Up

Crazy how hard it was to find basic info that should be available in one click. Next year I’m skipping the Google dance and heading straight to the fan forums. Shoutout to those unsung heroes who do the work leagues can’t seem to manage!
