Got hooked after seeing some dude’s “rolling picks” video on YouTube last month. Started testing different approaches right away in my demo account.
What Actually Happened
First week got messy real quick. Made lists everywhere:
- Nailed the entry points like he showed
- Totally screwed up exit timing every time
- Kept forgetting basic risk rules
Account went down 15% in four days. Was ready to toss my laptop out the window.
The Fixes I Made
Decided to rewrite everything on sticky notes. Taped ’em right above my screen:
- Set auto exits immediately after entering
- Only risk 0.5% per trade no matter what
- No trading after 2 PM period
Started paper trading for real Monday mornings. Got brutal honest – screenshot every loss.
Turning Point
Third week felt stupid boring but worked. When EUR spiked last Tuesday, my auto exit saved me from blowing up. Finally saw green numbers five days straight.
Been doing this five weeks now. Still mess up sometimes but sticking to sticky notes works. Account grew 8% this month – slow but steady wins the race.
