So, I was in Belgrade, right? Needed a place to crash, and Hotel Indigo Belgrade popped up. Heard some good things, figured I’d give it a shot. Booking was easy enough, no fuss there, which is always a good start for me. I just want to get in, get my key, and dump my bags, you know?

Arriving and First Impressions
Finding the place wasn’t too hard. Walked into the lobby, and it felt pretty modern, but not like, cold modern. It had a bit of a vibe, trying to be cool, I guess. The check-in folks were alright, got through that pretty quick. No long lines, which is a massive plus when you’ve just been travelling.
They told me a bit about the hotel, how each Indigo is supposed to be different, tied to the local area. Sounded nice, better than those cookie-cutter places where every room looks the same no matter what city you’re in. I was curious to see if my room would actually feel like Belgrade, or just like any other fancy hotel room.
The Room Experience
Got up to my room. First thing I noticed, it was clean. Super important. And stylish, yeah, definitely stylish. It didn’t feel huge, but it wasn’t cramped either. Just right for one person, or a couple, I reckon. They had some interesting art on the walls, and the colors were kinda muted but nice. It did feel a bit more thought-out than your average hotel room. They said something about the design reflecting the city, and I could sort of see it. It wasn’t over the top, just little touches here and there.
The bed was comfy, which is like, half the battle, isn’t it? Slept like a log. The bathroom was decent too, good shower pressure. Hate it when the shower is just a dribble. They had all the usual stuff, soaps and whatever. Nothing super groundbreaking, but all solid.
- Bed: Definitely comfortable.
- Cleanliness: Spot on.
- Vibe: Modern, with a local-ish touch.
- Noise: Pretty quiet, which was great.
Wandering Around the Hotel
Didn’t spend a ton of time exploring every nook and cranny. I saw they had a restaurant and a bar. Looked pretty slick. I had breakfast there one morning. It was good, standard hotel breakfast stuff, but good quality. The coffee was decent, which is always a make-or-break for me in the mornings.

The staff I bumped into were generally friendly. No one went like, above and beyond in a way that sticks in my mind, but everyone was polite and did their job. Sometimes that’s all you need, right? No drama, just efficient service.
Final Thoughts
So, Hotel Indigo Belgrade. Yeah, it was a good stay. It felt a bit more special than your big chain hotels, more like a boutique spot, which I guess is what they’re going for. It’s not the cheapest place you’ll find, probably, but you get a nice, clean, stylish room and a decent experience. If you’re looking for something that’s got a bit of personality and is comfortable, it’s a solid choice. I’d probably stay there again if I was back in Belgrade and wanted something a bit more upscale without being stuffy. It just worked, you know? No complaints from my end.
