Okay, so I saw this thing on Discord about a Fortnite Reload quest and I thought, “Why not?” I’m not the biggest Fortnite player, but free stuff is free stuff, right?
First thing I did was hop onto Discord. The quest thing was right there, staring at me. It said something about playing Fortnite for 15 minutes. Easy enough, I thought. I accepted the quest on December 12th, because these quests were only around from the 11th to the 15th, so I had to get on it.
Then, I fired up Fortnite. I haven’t played in ages, and to be honest, I’m not that great at it. But hey, it’s just 15 minutes. I jumped into a game, ran around like a headless chicken, and did my best not to get immediately eliminated.
- Step 1: Started the Fortnite, and found a match.
- Step 2: Played for, like, 5 minutes, which, let’s be honest, felt like an eternity. I did the “Reload” quest.
- Step 3: Then I left the match and just chilled in the lobby screen for another 15 minutes.
Once the time was up, I went back to Discord and looked for the refresh button on the quest thing. It was a little funky, didn’t update right away. Someone online said to keep Discord open and do the quest, then just stay in the Fortnite lobby for a bit, so I did that. After messing around in the lobby, I hit refresh again, and boom, it worked!
What Did I Get?
Apparently, there were different rewards for doing these quests. I did three of these Fortnite Reload quests, and I got something called a “Digital Dogfight Contrail.” No clue what that is, but it sounds cool. There were other things too, like a “Pool Cubes Wrap” for doing six quests and a “NaNa Bath Back Bling” for nine. I only did three, so I just got the contrail. But hey, free stuff, like I said.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with this Fortnite Discord quest. It was a bit of a hassle for a noob like me, but I got something out of it. If you see these quests pop up, give them a shot. Just be prepared to maybe run around like an idiot in Fortnite for a bit. And be patient with the refresh button on Discord, it’s a bit slow.
