Alright, so today I wanted to check up on the Phillies and Angels game. Had a bit of downtime and thought, let’s see what the score is.
First thing I did was reach for my phone. It’s usually right there on the desk or in my pocket. Unlocked it, you know the drill.
Then I opened up that sports app I tend to use. It’s not the fanciest one, but it gets the job done most of the time. Had to wait a moment for it to refresh, sometimes the connection is a bit spotty here.
Once it loaded, I scrolled through the list of games happening today. Took me a second, lots of baseball on.
Finding the Game
There it was, Phillies at Angels. Tapped on it to get the details.
The Score Check
And boom, the score popped up. Saw the innings, who was batting, the usual stuff.
- Checked the runs for each team.
- Looked at the current inning to see how far along they were.
- Maybe glanced at hits and errors, just out of habit.
Didn’t spend too long on it. Just wanted that quick update to see how things were shaking out between them. Got the info I needed. Closed the app and put the phone back down. Just a simple check-in on the game, part of the daily routine sometimes when your teams are playing.
