Twisted Sisters Route: Is It Really That Challenging? (Find Out!)

Must read

Okay, so today I decided to tackle the “Twisted Sisters” route. I’d heard about it from some buddies, and frankly, I was itching for a good ride.

First things first, I prepped my bike. Checked the tire pressure, lubed the chain, and made sure everything was tight. No one wants a breakdown in the middle of nowhere, right?

Getting Started

I hit the road early, around 7 AM. The sun was just coming up, and there was a nice chill in the air. Perfect riding weather! I followed 335, 336, and 337, you know, the scenic route.

It really felt so good!

The Ride Itself

  • The first part was pretty smooth. Just cruising along, enjoying the scenery.
  • Then came the twists and turns. Seriously, these roads are named “Twisted Sisters” for a reason! My arms were definitely feeling it after a while.
  • I stopped at a few overlooks to take some pictures. The views were incredible, man. Totally worth it.
  • Saw one of deer,it looks so cute.

Lunch Break

Around noon, I pulled over at a little diner I’d heard about. Grabbed a burger and some fries. Fueling up is important, especially on a long ride like this.

Finishing Up

The afternoon was more of the same – twisty roads, beautiful scenery, and the occasional “woohoo!” as I leaned into a turn.

I made sure every turn was safe.

I finally rolled back into town around 5 PM. Tired, but satisfied. It was a great day, and the Twisted Sisters definitely lived up to their reputation.

I think I will do that again. Maybe next time I’ll try to bring a few friends along for the ride. It’s always more fun with company, you know?
