Lethal Company Mac Version: Is It Available Yet?

Must read

Alright, folks, gather ’round! Today, I’m diving into something I’ve been messing with – getting Lethal Company to run on my Mac. Now, I ain’t no tech wizard, but I like tinkering, and I figured I’d share my stumbling-through-it process with y’all.

Lethal Company Mac Version: Is It Available Yet?

The Initial “Uh Oh”

So, first things first, I grabbed Lethal Company, excited to play, and then…bam! It’s Windows-only. My heart sank a little. I’ve got this perfectly good Mac, and I really didn’t wanna go buy a whole new gaming rig. Time to get creative, I thought.

The Bootcamp Boogie

My first thought was Bootcamp. It’s basically like having a little Windows partition on your Mac. Here is my steps:

  • Checked Compatibility: Made sure my Mac was actually capable of running Windows through Bootcamp. Apple’s got a list online, easy to find.
  • Downloaded Windows: Got myself a Windows ISO file. You gotta buy a license, no way around that.
  • Ran Bootcamp Assistant: This little program walks you through the whole process, pretty straightforward. It’s like a step-by-step guide, even I could follow it!
  • Partitioning: This is where you decide how much space to give Windows. I went with a decent chunk, figuring I might need it for other games down the line.
  • Installing Windows: Bootcamp does its thing, restarts your Mac, and then you’re basically installing Windows like you would on any other computer.
  • Drivers and Stuff: After Windows is up and running, Bootcamp helps you install all the necessary drivers so your Mac hardware works properly with Windows.

After all that, I restarted in Windows, installed Steam, downloaded Lethal Company, and…presto! It worked! Played a few rounds, had a blast. The downside? Rebooting every time I want to switch between macOS and Windows is a pain.

Still thinking…

I haven’t fully tried this way, Because Bootcamp satified me well. But keep in mind, it’s still early days for those other ways, and some folks are reporting bugs and stuff. I’m gonna stick with Bootcamp for now, but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on how things develop.

Anyway, that’s my Lethal Company on Mac adventure so far. Not the smoothest ride, but hey, I got there in the end! Hope this helps some of you fellow Mac users out there. Game on!
