This here Midshipman, he’s a stallion, you know? A real good one, they say. Not just any horse, mind you. This one’s special. They say he’s been winning and winning. Fast as lightning, that one. People are talking, saying he’s the best around.

Midshipman Stallion Winning
Heard he’s got some young ones, winning all over the place. Up in Saratoga, they say he’s the only stallion with a bunch of little winners in 2023. That’s something, ain’t it? All them other horses, and his babies are the ones winning. He must be so proud. I reckon he is.
- Fast runner, that Midshipman.
- Lots of winning babies.
- Best stallion around, maybe.
- Makes a lot of money, I bet.
Now, I don’t know much about these fancy horse things, but I hear them talking down at the market. They say this Midshipman stallion, he’s worth a lot of money. More than most folks see in a lifetime. And they say he’s cheap, compared to other horses. I don’t know how a horse can be cheap and expensive at the same time, but that’s what they’re saying.
They talk about these “blacktype” winners, and percentages, and “stud fees.” I don’t understand all that. All I know is, this Midshipman, he’s a winner. Over 15% of his babies are these “blacktype” winners, whatever that means. And his stud fee, that’s how much they pay to have him make babies, is under $10. That part I understand. Ten dollars is ten dollars.
Midshipman and Navy
They say only a Midshipman stallion in all of Kentucky does that, this winning with a low price. Makes him special, I reckon. Like finding a four-leaf clover in a whole field of regular ones. You just know it’s going to bring you good luck.
You know, “Midshipman” makes me think of them Navy boys. Strong and brave, just like this horse. I heard these Navy Midshipmen, after their second year, they go on these cruises. They learn to work on ships and submarines. Gets them ready for the real world, I suppose. Toughens them up.

And then there are these other Midshipmen, the ones who want to be Marines. Tough as nails, those ones. They get special training, too. Fleet Marine Force, they call it. Sounds important, don’t it? I bet this Midshipman stallion, he’d be a good Marine. Strong and fast, just like them.
- Navy Midshipmen are strong like the horse.
- They go on cruises to learn.
- Marine Midshipmen are even tougher.
- Fleet Marine Force is special training.
This Midshipman stallion, he’s like them young Navy boys, full of promise. He’s got a long way to go, but he’s already done so much. And folks are betting on him, just like they bet on them young soldiers. They see something special in him, just like they see in those boys who are about to become men.
Midshipman is a Good Stallion
I don’t know much about horses, but I know a good thing when I see it. And this Midshipman stallion, he’s a good thing. He’s a winner, and he makes winners. That’s all you need to know, really. He’s like that lucky penny you find on the sidewalk. You just know it’s going to bring you good fortune.
They saying Midshipman stallion is the best. A real winner, this one. I don’t know all them fancy words and numbers, but I know he’s good. Fast and strong, with lots of winning babies. He’s one of a kind, they say.
- Midshipman is a top stallion, for sure.
- He makes lots of winners. That’s a good thing.
- He’s worth a lot of money, but they say he’s cheap.
- People are talking about him all over.
I hear them say he’s the only one in Kentucky, doing what he’s doing. Winning so much for such a low price. Makes him special. Like that one perfect apple in the whole basket. You just gotta have it.

Now, I don’t know about these other stallions, but this Midshipman, he got something special. He’s like that prize-winning pie at the county fair. Everybody wants a piece of it. He’s a winner, through and through. And that’s all that matters in the end, ain’t it? Winning. This Midshipman, he knows how to win.
Yep, that Midshipman stallion is something else. Fast, a winner, makes other winners. That is a good horse if I ever heard of one. They say he’s the only one doing it in Kentucky. Special and a bargain, all rolled into one. That Midshipman, he’s going places, I tell you.
