JaMarr Chase Chain: Check Out the Bling! (Photos & Videos)

Must read

Okay, so I saw this “Ja’Marr Chase chain” thing trending and, like, I had to try to make one myself. I’m not a jeweler or anything, just a dude who likes to mess around with crafts, so don’t expect anything fancy, alright?

Getting Started

First, I gathered my materials. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money, because, let’s be real, this was probably going to be a one-time thing. So I went to that everything is cheap store and bought some materials:

  • Some fake gold chain – the thicker, the better, you know?
  • A pack of those sparkly, stick-on gems. I got a mix of sizes, just in case.
  • Super glue. The heavy-duty kind.
  • Some pliers, ’cause I figured I’d need to adjust the chain.
  • And a printout of the Bengals logo, ’cause that’s what Ja’Marr’s rocking, right?

The “Pendant”

I am not gonna lie the logo part was the trickiest, I first cut out the Bengals logo, trying to be all precise and stuff. Then, I found this old, clear plastic keychain thingy – you know, the kind you get at fairs? I popped out the picture that was already in there and carefully, very carefully, glued the Bengals logo onto it. Boom. Instant pendant-ish thing.

Putting It All Together

Next, I laid out the chain and figured out how long I wanted it. I just eyeballed it, holding it up to my chest like I was some kind of rapper. I used the pliers to open one of the links and remove the extra chain. This was surprisingly easy, which made me feel like a pro, even though I totally wasn’t.

Then, I attached the makeshift pendant to the chain. I just used another one of those chain links to hook it on. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked.

Blinging It Out

Now for the fun part – the gems! I started sticking those bad boys all over the chain. I didn’t really have a plan, just went for it. Big gems, small gems, clustered them together, spaced them out… you get the idea. I wanted it to look, you know, iced out.

I added a little bit of super glue in somewhere not obvious, just for guarantee.

The Final Product

And… that’s it! Honestly, it looked… okay. I mean, it wasn’t exactly jewelry store quality, but it definitely had that homemade, “I tried” vibe. I wore it around the house for a bit, feeling like a budget version of Ja’Marr Chase. My dog was not impressed, but hey, I had fun. Would I wear it out in public? Maybe not. But it was a fun little project, and now I have a one-of-a-kind, slightly janky, Ja’Marr Chase-inspired chain. Sweet!
