Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get my books organized for, like, ever. And I’m a big fan of Daniel de Silva’s Gabriel Allon series. So today, I finally tackled the mission of putting his books in order. Here’s how it went down:

The Search Mission
First, I grabbed all my de Silva books. They were scattered everywhere – on my nightstand, bookshelf, even one chilling in the living room. I gathered them all in one spot on my desk, creating a mini-mountain of spy thrillers.
Sorting Through the Pile
Next, I needed to figure out the actual order. You’d think it’d be easy, but with series, it can get tricky. I quickly realize I do not have all of them memorized in order.
The Actual Ordering
I started arranging the books, double-checking to make sure I had them in the right sequence. It took a little bit of back-and-forth, but eventually, I had them all lined up correctly:
- The Kill Artist
- The English Assassin
- The Confessor
- A Death in Vienna
- Prince of Fire
- The Messenger
- The Secret Servant
- The Defector
- Moscow Rules
- The Rembrandt Affair
- Portrait of a Spy
- The Fallen Angel
- The English Girl
- The Heist
- The English Spy
- The Black Widow
- House of Spies
- The Other Woman
- The New Girl
- The Order
- The Cellist
- The Plot
- The Collector
- The English Agent(coming soon)
Mission Accomplished (Mostly)
Finally, I put the ordered books on my bookshelf. It looks so much better now! It’s satisfying to see them all lined up, ready for the next time I want to dive back into Gabriel Allon’s world. I also quickly realized which books I did not have and added some to my reading list for ordering later.
I also took this time to quickly organize all my other books in alphabetical order. All in all a productive day.
