Okay, so I saw this question popping up everywhere: “Will Spider-Man 2 be on PS4?” I’m a huge Spidey fan, so naturally, I had to dig in. My gut feeling was “no way,” but I needed to be sure, you know?
My Investigation Begins!
First, I scrolled through my usual gaming news sites, nothing. Then I jumped onto the official PlayStation website. I figured that would be the most reliable source, right?
I poked around the Spider-Man 2 game page. Lots of cool stuff about the PS5 features – haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, all that jazz. But nothing, and I mean nothing, about a PS4 version.
- Checked fan forums: Lots of speculation, but no solid answers.
- Looked at pre-order options: Only PS5 versions were listed. Hmmm…
I even watched some developer interviews. I thought maybe they’d casually mention a PS4 release. Nope. All the talk was about how they were leveraging the power of the PS5.
It becoming more and more obvious.
The (Disappointing) Conclusion
After all that digging, all signs point to a big, fat NO. It looks like Spider-Man 2 is a PS5 exclusive. Bummer for PS4 owners, I know. I was a little bummed myself, even though I have a PS5. It’s always nice to have options, right?
It makes sense, though. The developers probably wanted to push the game to its limits, and the PS4 hardware just wouldn’t be able to handle it. I’m guessing we’ll see some seriously impressive graphics and gameplay because of it.
In conclusion, after checking everthing myself. Sadly,Spider-Man 2 be only on PS5.
