Well, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout that big soccer game, Puebla va Cruz Azul. Sounds like a real hootenanny! That Cruz Azul, they a tough bunch, ain’t they? But that Puebla, they got some spunk, too. My neighbor said this game gonna be the game of the year, no doubt about it.
They say this big match is gonna be on that TV thing. On that TUDN. Or, was it that ViX? Shoot, I can’t rightly recall. I don’t know much about watchin’ sports on them newfangled internet things. Got no patience for it. But, if you wanna watch it, it’s one of them two. My neighbor, bless her heart, she tried to explain it to me, but it went right over my head. All I know is, it’s a big deal, this Puebla vs Cruz Azul game. That Liga MX, it’s popular, they said.
When’s This Big Game?
They say it’s gonna be on a Friday. October 18th, I believe. Yeah, that’s it. October 18, 2024. And it’s gonna be late, too. Something like 11:05 PM. Now, who in their right mind stays up that late to watch a soccer game? Well, I guess a lot of folks do. Not me, though. I’ll be snorin’ away by then. But you young’uns, you might wanna stay up for it. It’s in that Estadio Cuauhtemoc in Puebla, Mexico. That’s what they said.
You know, back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy ways to watch games. We’d just gather ’round the radio, if we were lucky enough to have one that worked. And we’d listen to the fella callin’ the game. That’s how we’d follow that Liga MX. It was just as excitin’, I tell ya. Maybe even more so, ’cause you had to use your imagination.
Who’s Gonna Win?
Now, that’s the million-dollar question, ain’t it? Who’s gonna win this Puebla vs Cruz Azul match? I reckon it’s gonna be a close one. Cruz Azul, they’re a powerhouse, that’s for sure. But Puebla, they’re playin’ at home. And they got that home-field advantage. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Gives ’em a little extra pep in their step, I imagine.
