Okay, so I’ve been getting really into motorcycles lately. Not just any motorcycles, though – the big boys. We’re talking 2000cc engines. I mean, these things are practically land rockets.

First, I started by just watching a ton of videos online. You know, the usual – reviews, comparisons, sound checks. I spent hours just soaking it all in. Gotta get a feel for what’s out there, right?
The Deep Dive
Then, I moved on to forums and online communities. I wanted to hear from actual owners, people who ride these beasts every day. What are the pros? What are the cons? What’s it really like to handle all that power?
- The Good: Power, obviously. Presence. A feeling like you’re riding a freakin’ locomotive.
- The Bad: Heavy. Can be a handful in slow traffic. Gas mileage? Forget about it.
- The Ugly: Some folks mentioned maintenance costs can be…intense. Good to know!
After that, I decided I needed to see some of these bikes in person. So, I hit up a few local dealerships. Just to look, I told myself. Just to get a sense of scale. Yeah, right.
Sitting on a 2000cc motorcycle is an experience. You feel…substantial. Like you could conquer anything. The sheer size of the engine is intimidating, but also kind of thrilling.
I haven’t actually ridden one yet. That’s the next step. But I’m taking it slow, doing my research, and making sure I’m prepared. I’ve started practicing on a smaller bike, just to get more comfortable with the basics.

This whole process has been awesome. It is exciting. It’s a journey, and I’m enjoying every step. I will be sharing a riding update soon!
